Yolanda Harden, the Iowa regional director of the Set Me Free Project, and educator Courtney Field held age-appropriate discussions last week with students in grades 4-12 at De Smet School and held another presentation Oct. 2 at the De Smet Event and Wellness Center with parents and school officials.
Parents in attendance had children who ranged in ages from infant to adult.
The presentation to the adults focused mainly on keeping young people safe on the internet and identifying some of the more dangerous social media sites.
